Wine Country Culinary Institute is designed to prepare students for success in the food service and hospitality industry. It provides opportunities to learn the basic skills in product knowledge, food production, service and management while incorporating extensive hands-on instruction.
Capstone Kitchen is the answer to that mission where students design the menus, cook the food and serve it to our guests. We are open for limited in house dining and a curb side togo menu to the public and serve lunch Wednesday -Friday. Additionally, we will be offering a take and bake option for dinners as well. We are easy to find on the corner of Tausick and Airport Way in the Center for Enology and Viticulture.
My wife and I have been coming to the Capstone Cafe for lunch and recently dinner since the inception of the cafe. In addition to the really great food, we enjoy watching the development of the students learning both sides of restaurant industry. We highly recommend the Capstone Kitchen experience. You will not regret it!

This summer Capstone Kitchen will be doing things a little differently.We will be doing very limited indoor seating and adding a curb side pick up ordering for lunch as well as take and bake dinners for your dining pleasure.
The health of our students and the public are of paramount importance to us. We will be teaching enhanced sanitation and following strict state and national guidelines as we produce your meals. This has given us an opportunity to tailor a curriculum to today's challenges as a restaurant during Covid-19 times. We believe our students will be stronger for these added challenges, and the program for the enhanced curriculum. We look forward to seeing all our regulars as well as hope to make some new friends too. Education never tasted so good.
